12930 “Astrid” British Bulldog
Gender: Female
Age: Under a year
Neutered: No
Astrid is a 8 month old british bulldog puppy, handed over to kennels due to no fault of her own. Astrid is a handful and extremely energetic, not your average bulldog. She is very inquisitive and always on the go. Astrid will need a home where she is not left alone very often, as she will need a lot of mental stimulation. Unlike most bulldogs, Astrid will enjoy plenty of walking to burn off some of her energy. Walks will have to be managed for now to short and steady a couple of times a day, due to her young age and issues bulldogs can have with breathing – but as she gets a bit older this can progress. British bulldogs are prone to various health problems and keeping them is usually quite costly. Astrid has lived with other dogs but is “too much” for a lot of dogs but may be able to live with a VERY tolerant neutered adult dog. Astrid is definitely in need of more socialising with other dogs and calming around people. She is not currently housetrained and knows no commands and would benefit from some lead training. A british bulldog experienced home is preferable. Astrid must be spayed as part of our adoption contract, the cost of this is down to the adopter. Astrid is already fully vaccinated. Please note the adoption fee for Astrid is £300.
For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped).
