13573 “Midge” Female SBT x

Gender: Female

Age: 1 - 2 years

Neutered: No

This lovely girl was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. Unfortunately she is not microchipped so we do not know her name or exact date of birth, but the kennels have aged her at around 1 year old and named her Midge. She is a small staffy cross, fawn in colour. Initially Midge was very nervous of kennel staff although she never showed any aggression, she would cower in her bed & was very unsure of wearing a lead & would have to be carried. Fast forward a few days, with a little patience & lots of gravy bones – Midge is now giddy to see staff, happy to have a lead on & loves a good fuss! We have seen no negative reactions from Midge towards the dogs she is kennelled next to. Midge sits on command but does need further training, including house training. Midge is a little lady with a big appetite & needs a greedy bowl as she does wolf her food down. Due to Midges initial nervous nature she would be best suited to a home with older children only. Potential adopters may need to visit kennels a couple of times before Midge feels safe enough to go home. Midge deserves a 5 star home with plenty of time to build her confidence further.
