This lovely boy was found roaming the street with another dog & brought into kennels. Unfortunately he is not microchipped so we do not know his name or exact date of birth but the kennels have named him Jax & aged him around 2 years old. Jax was very timid upon arrival at kennels & was very nervous of the lead going over his head. He is now more confident with kennel staff but is still nervous of the lead & unsure when separated from “Gem” the dog he was found with. Jax will need a calm, quiet home without young children. Adopters must be patient & will need to spend time training & building Jax confidence. He may need a gentle reminder also when it comes to house training. Adopters may have to visit kennels for a few viewing appointments before Jax is comfortable enough to “go home”.
For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
