This lovely girl was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. Unfortunately her microchip was unregistered so we do not know her name or exact date of birth. The kennels have named her Amber and aged her around 18 months old. Initially Amber was a little nervous of being handled by kennel staff but she never growled or showed any signs of aggression. Amber has grown in confidence everyday and now shows us her affectionate, playful side. Amber is a cross breed, we suspect Mastiff cross American Bulldog or similar type breed. Please note that Amber is larger than she looks in the photos – around 40kg in weight. Amber is always clean in her kennel which is a good indicator that she is house trained. Amber can be selective over which other dogs she likes so may need to be an only dog or to be with a socialable, balanced dog – pending a successful introduction at kennels. Amber knows basic commands such as “sit” and “paw” but does need further training. She is fairly strong on the lead so will need a capable handler. Amber really deserves to find her 5 star forever home.
For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
