Edna
Gender: Female
Age: 1 - 2 years
Neutered: Yes
Edna is a lovely girl who came to us from the stray kennels, where she faced an uncertain future. We aren’t sure what sort of life Edna has had before coming to us, but she is settling in well here at Rain and we hope that it won’t be long before she finds her forever home – she really does deserve to find a home to call her home.
This lovely lady has bags of character and has so much love and laughter to give to new owners – who wouldn’t want this gorgeous girl in their life?
Edna is loving and outgoing, but does sometimes get spooked in new environments, so a home with owners who will introduce her to life slowly and steadily is ideal. She enjoys a potter but also loves a mad half an hour run and play in the fields, so is looking for a relatively active home – although she hates the rain!
Edna is a really special girl with bags of potential – she doesn’t know many basic commands at the moment, so there is training work to be done with her, but she is very food motivated, which should help along the way! As she has still got lots to learn, we think Edna would be best suited to a home where she won’t be left too long initially and to build up to longer periods over time.
Can you open up your home and heart to Edna?
SUITABLE WITH DOGS – Edna has walked out well with some of the other dogs here at the centre. She is still under assessment, but may be suitable to live with another dog in the home.
SUITABLE WITH CATS – Unknown, still under assessment.
SUITABLE WITH CHILDREN – We think that Edna would be best suited to a home with children 8 years and over – she is a very bouncy lady.
Edna has an adoption fee of £200 which includes neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and worming treatments, 4 weeks free pet insurance with Petplan, plus a collar, lead and ID tag.
