GIZMO

Gender: Male

Age: Under a year

Neutered: Not specified

Gizmo is a lively 11-month-old collie/greyhound cross. Sadly, due to a change in circumstances, his owners have reluctantly handed him over to us.

He is an affectionate lad and eager to please, especially if a treat is on offer! He has some basic commands: sit, lay down, and wait but still needs some work with lead training and recall (when distracted by other dogs). He is of slim build and as you can see from the photos his back reaches about knee height ( woman), more collie height than a greyhound.

He has been the only dog in the household but is friendly with others when out and about, wanting to play. He is still a young dog so can be a little wary/anxious when in strange surroundings, but this shows in a more boisterous attitude rather than bad behavior.

He needs a home where he will get plenty of exercise, a fully fenced garden to play in, and where someone can give him the time to finish off the finer points of his  training. He is an intelligent dog and a quick learner.
