RUPERT

Gender: Male

Age: 10+

Neutered: Yes

Rupert is a 10 yr old Cocker Spaniel who arrived with us in terrible condition, but after a good groom and a lot of teeth removed, he is looking and feeling so much better and is now ready to find his new home. Rupert is a lovely boy with lots of character, but has a bit of a ‘grumpy old man’ side to his personality and is looking for a quieter home with no children. He is generally fine with other dogs and can live with another calm dog, but would be happy as the only dog. He’s a definite no to cats! Rupert is good around the house and fine to be left for a few hours, he also travels well in the car. He enjoys his walks, but is not great off the lead, so will need to be kept on the lead on his walks! He’s quite a stubborn old chap and can be grumbly if he’s asked to do something he doesn’t want to do (such as going outside for the loo if it’s raining outside!). Rupert’s ideal home would be with an active retired person or couple who have some experience with Spaniels.
