13562 “Trip” Male Patterdale
Gender: Male
Age: 3 - 4 years
Neutered: No
Trip was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. According to his microchip he is 4 years old. Trip was in a sorry state, slightly underweight & with an unkept matted coat. after arriving at kennels he was very unsure of kennel staff & was fearful of being handled & would bark & growl. He was very unsure of having a lead on too. After a few days & lots of treats, he came round & is now fine to be handled by staff & is friendly & pleased to see them. Trip is still a little uncertain of strangers so potential adopters may need to view him a couple of times before he feels safe enough to go home. Trip loves his toys, so much so he doesn’t like to share & is protective over them. He will need a home without children. Trip needs all aspects of training including house training. Trip doesn’t seem to of experienced much of other dogs & will need further socialising. Trip needs a patient, terrier loving home that can continue to build his confidence & give him all the care he deserves.
