This lovely lad was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. Unfortunately he was not microchipped so we don’t know his name or exact date of birth but the kennels have named him Ernie & aged him around only 6-7 months. Ernie has a very sweet, gentle nature & can be a little shy at times. His new home will need to build up his confidence further. When first arriving at kennels he was not used to walking on a lead but is okay with it now. Ernie was found roaming with his brother, Bert. Bert & Ernie get along well but do not seem to be used to other dogs besides each other & are very timid around them so will need further socialising. All aspects of training are needed for Ernie, he knows no basic commands & is not housetrained. Ernie loves his grub & is highly food motivated! A 5 star lurcher loving forever home has to be out there for Ernie!

Adoption info

For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). For full information or to book an appointment to see the animals available, please call the kennels direct on 07817 497995, phone 7days 8am - 8pm (closed between 1.30pm and 2pm for lunch) - viewing is by appointment only, subject to a successful pre adoption questionnaire carried out over the phone - please remember to quote the dogs reference number when calling. ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
