Daisy is a lovely 8 yr old medium sized Lab/Collie/Spaniel type Crossbreed who is sadly in our care due to the ill health of her previous owner. Daisy is a really sweet girl with a sensitive side making her nervous around new people. Once bonded, she is very affectionate and loyal. She is looking for an active child free home with experienced dog owners. She may be middle aged, but as you can imagine with her breed mix, she has tons of energy and loves to be out exploring! Daisy is very well behaved in her kennel and appears to be housetrained (but will have a few accidents as she settles in). She doesn’t chew, travels well and would be OK to be left for a few hours once settled, but wouldn’t suit full time workers. She pulls a bit on lead when just on a collar, but walks nicely on a harness. She would need to be kept on lead until fully bonded with her new owner as she is very scent driven and loves to follow her nose so would be easily distracted when off lead! She has shown no issues around other dogs and may be able to live with a friendly male dog, but would be happy living as the only dog. She is not tested around cats. Daisy is a fantastic dog and will shine in the right home.
