Hi there, I’m Turbo! I’m a 1 year old greyhound and I’ve come to Rain after deciding that a racing career isn’t quite for me – I’m way more suited to life as a pet!

I make a great office dog as I will happily entertain myself by flinging my teddies up in the air before settling down for a snooze. I might come over for a quick cuddle now and again though if that’s okay! I’m an affectionate boy and love a good fuss. The kennel team even treat me to a massage every now and again which I LOVE! I am a typical greyhound – fast by name but not by nature! I enjoy a potter and the occasional round of zoomies, but I’m a pretty chilled lad and don’t need a lot in terms of exercise – a comfy bed sound like much more fun!

I have potential to live with another sighthound or children aged 7+ but sadly I’m not suitable to live with cats or small furries. I’d like to have someone around most of the day while I settle in as I’m only a young lad and am feeling a bit lost, but my alone-time could be built up gradually once I’m feeling more at home. I take most things in my stride, but my friends at Rain Rescue can offer lots of help and advice to help me adjust to life in a home!

Turbo has an adoption fee of £250.

Turbo has been fully health-checked, vaccinated, flead and wormed. He has been neutered, and his microchip will be changed to your details on his adoption day. Turbo will leave Rain Rescue with a 2kg bag of Burns food to help him settle in as well as 4 weeks free insurance from PetPlan.
