Pip and Poppy
Poppy is the little Jack Russell and is 15 years old and Pip the Border Terrier x and is 12 years old. They love to race each other on their walks and steal each other’s toys when the other isn’t looking. Two typical terriers its ‘you snooze you lose‘ with these two cheeky characters.
Pip and Poppy’s Story
These two sweet older ladies came in to Rain’s care as their owner was too poorly to care for them. Now spending their time under the wing of one of our fabulous foster carers.
After playing with their toys (the squeakier the better) and plenty of kisses for their human It’s time to assume their position; Pip snuggled fully under a cosy blanket head to waggy tail and Poppy curled up on a warm lap both dreaming of chicken and their favourite sausage treat.
Both girls love to meet new people and have already stolen many hearts with their sweet temperament and funny personalities and truly bring happiness to anyone who meets them.
If you feel you could offer these two a happy ever after please fill in our online application form.
Poppy and Pip have lived together for many years and whilst Pip is very active and will walk and walk and run and play for ages, Poppy is after the more sedate life. We are therefore rehoming the ladies together, but looking for a home that can cater for both these characters. Maybe someone who loves to walk but also happy to have a pair of older ladies to settle down with at night.
They have had a vet health check and Pip has been booked in for a dental. Poppy has a very low grade heart murmur but the vets weren’t that worried about it and didn’t recommend any medication. Both girls are microchipped which will be transferred in to your name on adoption day. They will leave Rains care with the food they have been enjoying whilst at the centre. Pet Plan will provide you with 4 week free insurance. They have a joint adoption fee of £250.
Please go onto our website and read our adoption info and criteria and prices as they are different for each dog.
