Millie is a very timid, shy young Collie cross who is looking for a quiet, patient home where she will be given plenty of time to find her confidence in her new surroundings. She is just 1-2 years old and was a stray, so we have no history about her. She was very scared when she first arrived and wouldn’t interact with anyone for a week or so, but she’s now realising things aren’t so scary and is showing us her playful side and gorgeous big waggy tail. She has never shown any aggression despite being so scared. Millie will be best living as the only pet so she can get the 1-1 she needs. She will need a home with no children and will need a very secure garden. Millie has never walked on a lead, so will need help getting her used to this, we will give you advice on how best to get her confidence up with her lead walking, but the main thing will be time and patience… and plenty of treats (she loves her food!). Millie will make the most fantastic dog in the right home. Ideally a Collie experienced home who can give her plenty of exercise and training as she finds her feet, as we do think she will be quite high energy once her confidence grows.

All dogs adopted from HYPS have had a full health check, are fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. They are also treated for fleas and worms. The adoption fee is £150.
