Pixie is a very sweet 5-6 month old Lurcher puppy looking for an experienced new home. She adores people and is a typical excitable young dog, she sometimes puppy nips when excited, so needs a home with children aged 10+. Pixie is good with other dogs and would do well living with a playful younger male dog in her new home. At the moment Pixie suffers with separation anxiety – she will cry and go to the toilet if left alone. She is improving with this already in her foster home, but will need a home where she won’t be left for long at the moment whilst she gets more confident being alone. Pixie also needs work with walking on a short lead – at the moment she’s very relaxed on an extendable lead (attached to a secure harness), but on a short lead she barks at dogs and is generally quite anxious. Pixie has a lot of potential, is clever, quick to learn and eager to please so will be a fantastic dog in the right home. She will need a very secure garden and ideally we are looking for a sighthound savvy home for her.
