Good Life Dog Rescue is a small charity who care about the welfare of stray dogs in the UK. We are passionate about helping these animals. We are dedicated to helping stray and abandoned dogs waiting at local stray kennels that have served their legal required time. As well as taking dogs into our care we also continue to help and find rescue places for other strays waiting at local stray kennels in Yorkshire. We transport to larger rehoming centres and other reputable rescues.

Good Life Dog Rescue is self funded. We receive no immediate funding and run entirely on limited funds. Good Life founder has a full time job outside of the rescue to help support the dogs in care. All spare time and energy is dedicated to raising funds and helping stray and homeless dogs. We run entirely on volunteers and dedicate time to all of our animals. They receive long walks every day with our volunteers and their welfare is president to us. The dogs in our care receive immediate veterinary care, health checks, are vaccinated, neutered, treated for fleas and worms. Home checks and vet references if possible are needed for adoption of all our dogs.

Good Life Dog Rescue does not have its own kennels so all the dogs in our care board at two different kennels in Yorkshire (more info available for appointments). All our dogs are walked and cared for and all veterinary care including operations if needed are paid for by our charity. Kennels are a temporary place for our dogs and we aim to find them a new start as soon as possible.

Please contact us about the dog you are interested in via email preferably. Please give information about yourself, your lifestyle and your home. Do you have children? Other pets? Work full time? etc etc. We will come back to you as soon as possible. If the dog is a good match for you we will arrange for you to come and meet the dog and ourselves. If everything goes well we will home check your property and if possible you can provide us with a verbal reference from your previous vet. All our animals are vaccinated, neutered, treated for fleas and worms and micro chipped. We ensure we match the right dog with the right adopter and all parties are happy including the dog.
