Nessie is a very sweet and friendly Belgium Shepherd type female who has been no trouble in kennels. The only issue the kennels have seen is that she is a very good escape artist (typical of the breed) and can jump over gates/walls etc. This means she will need a very secure home/garden where she will never be left unsupervised. She is medium in size, black/tan/sable colour, 2 years old, will be 3 in april 2020 according to her microchip. Nessie came to the kennels quite underweight with bite wounds to her neck and face, the wounds are healing well but it may leave some scarring. Nessie appears to know some basic commands but may need further house training. She will need a home with breed experience.
For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
