Nelly is a 7 year old black lab cross, she was handed over to kennels through no fault of her own. Nervous Nelly can be wary of strangers and barks, but this is all forgotten about in a matter of minutes. Nelly LOVES tennis balls and playing fetch so makes winning her over very easy. Due to Nelly’s nervous nature, we are looking for a home without children. Nelly is good with other dogs and has previously lived with them before. Nelly walks nicely on a lead and has good recall. Nelly is housetrained and is fine to be left for a few hours. Please note visitors interested in adopting Nelly will have to take in to consideration her initial reaction to meeting strangers, she will bark as she is fearful but not aggressive. You may also be required to come to kennels to meet Nelly a couple of times before she is comfortable enough to go home with you (if adoption is successful).

For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). For full information or to book an appointment to see the animals available, please call the kennels direct on 07817 497995, phone 7days 8am - 8pm (closed between 1.30pm and 2pm for lunch) - viewing is by appointment only, subject to a successful pre adoption questionnaire carried out over the phone - please remember to quote the dogs reference number when calling. ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
