Alvin is a 6 month old cocker spaniel puppy, he was handed over to kennels due to no fault of his own. Alvin will need a very active, spaniel experienced home where he will not be left alone very often. Alvin will need plenty of training as he currently knows no commands and is not housetrained. Alvin has lived with other dogs but still needs some socialising, he may be able to live with a very tolerant neutered adult. But Alvin is food proud so meal times must be kept strictly separate. Alvin needs neutering as part of the adoption contract, the cost of this is down to the adopter. Alvin is already fully vaccinated. Please note the adoption fee for Alvin is £300.
For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
