12928 “Abes” British Bulldog
Gender: Male
Age: Under a year
Neutered: No
Abes is a 6 month old black and white british bulldog puppy, he was handed over to kennels due to no fault of his own. Abes has lived with other dogs and may be able to live with a calm neutered adult dog. But strictly NO cats or small furries. Abes knows how to “sit” and picks up training fairly easily. Abes unfortunately has “cherry eye” in both eyes, this will need corrective surgery ASAP to prevent permanent damage to his eyes. The cost of this operation ranges from £350-£500 per eye, adopters will have to bear in mind this expense and please note pet insurance companies will not cover this as it is a pre-existing condition. British bulldogs are prone to various health problems and are normally quite costly to keep. Abes walks quite nicely on the lead but does need a little encouragement to exercise. Abes is fully vaccinated but will need neutering as part of our adoption contract, the cost of this is down to the adopter. Please note the adoption fee for Abes is £300.
For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). For full information or to book an appointment to see the animals available, please call the kennels direct on 07817 497995, phone 7days 8am - 8pm (closed between 1.30pm and 2pm for lunch) - viewing is by appointment only, subject to a successful pre adoption questionnaire carried out over the phone - please remember to quote the dogs reference number when calling. PLEASE CALL THE NUMBERS TO SPEAK TO A MEMBER OF STAFF IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ONE OF THE DOGS - emails/messages to this site unable to be responded to.
ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
