Zena was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray without a collar or tag. Zena is microchipped & her date of birth is 22/1/22. Whilst being in kennels she has been friendly and affectionate with all staff. We have noticed she does become stressed very quickly when left on her own, she will need a home where she is not left very often. Zena has negatively reacted to some dogs in kennels when on a lead but not all, this is very typical of shepherds and she will need further training and socialisation to prevent this. Zena is very strong on the lead so will need a capable and confident handler. She seems to be housetrained as she stays spotless in her kennel overnight. Zena loves carrying round toys and will fetch and drop them for you. Zena has a very sweet temperament and needs a home to give her all the love & patience she deserves.

Adoption info

For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). For full information or to book an appointment to see the animals available, please call the kennels direct on 07817 497995, phone 7days 8am - 8pm (closed between 1.30pm and 2pm for lunch) - viewing is by appointment only, subject to a successful pre adoption questionnaire carried out over the phone - please remember to quote the dogs reference number when calling. ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
