Boris

Gender: Male

Age: 10+

Neutered: Yes

Boris is a true gent and is desperately seeking to find a home of his own. He came to us a long term stray but luckily had some kind people to look out for him before, but sadly they were unable to take care of him long term. He was initially quite shy on arrival and who could blame him after all he had been through!

Boris is now in his twilight years and is seeking that special home who can give him all the he needs. He craves love, attention and plenty of cosy and comfy beds to snooze away in. Now that he has settled into cattery life, he really does show himself off to be a loving and affectionate boy – he really will make a super addition to the right home. Despite his senior years, Boris is still active and loves to play with his favourite toys – he’s such a character!

This handsome guy is currently on medication after he came to us with sore ears – this is improving over time but he is still under vet treatment for this. He has just started some medication as Boris has been diagnosed with a condition called hyperthyroidism –  he is currently being monitored and over the next few weeks we will hopefully be able to see if the medication is helping. This condition is often easily controlled by medication and regular check ups at the vet – so we are keeping everything crossed for our Boris!

Could you open up your home and heart to our golden oldie Boris?

Adoption info

SUITABLE WITH CATS – Possibly, careful and slow introductions would be needed – we don’t really know if Boris has lived with another cat or not and as he is an older guy, it would need to be a very calm and quiet cat who is used to living with others.

SUITABLE WITH DOGS – Possibly if very very calm and used to being around cats.

SUITABLE WITH CHILDREN – Boris is looking for a home with secondary school age children (if any) – he is seeking a quiet and calm home.

INDOOR/OUTDOOR LIFESTYLE – Boris is looking for an indoor only home please.

Boris had an adoption fee of £75 which includes healthcheck, neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment, along with 4 weeks free pet insurance with Pet Plan.
