Shhhh Penny here – I’m a lovely shy black panther who’s had rather a bad start in life – I was living in a garden when some lovely ladies came and trapped me – they were going to get me neutered then release me back outside but I looked so terrified and overwhelmed they decided to put me in a foster home instead to see how I got on.

My lovely fosterer had to teach me how to use a litter tray teehee but I soon got the hang of it and I am very clean & tidy girl – none of this flicking all over the place from me lol.

Having said that my first fosterer thinks I have never lived in a home before as I was very shy and nervous of everything – I lived with her for over a year and during this time I have got used to a TV and washing machine noises etc and best of all I found how nice it is to get cuddles and fusses from you human folk!

I have never shown agression but I am skittish and will hide at the slightest thing until I get to know you better,

The reason I am now looking for my own home is some of my fosterers cats didn’t like me so I moved in with one of Rains fosterers – it has taken me about 2 weeks to come out of my shell a bit but I will now sit next to her purring like a tractor – still leg it if she moves but I do come back lol.

I promise you won’t regret it I will make a lovely companion cat when I’ve got over my shyness as I love cuddles, sleeping on your bed with you and can purr like a tractor, the only thing I’m not keen on yet is being picked up but I’m sure this will come in time.

As you are adopting me from Rain Rescue, i have had my vet checks, and have been neutered and fully vaccinated. I have been flea’d and wormed and microchipped and they will change this over to you once i am in my new home. When adopted PetPlan will give me 4 weeks Free Insurance and Burns will give me a 2kg bag of wonderful food.
