ALFIE – SMALL DOG WITH A LARGE PERSONALITY
Alfie is a friendly little dog that loves his people and a fuss. He enjoys going for walks, his play times and his company. He is friendly, yet confident and can be selective with other dogs. He is a typical terrier who is small and unhappy with bigger dogs as he feels threatened. Alfie is approx 6 years old and was no longer wanted by his owner. He came into care with flea dermatitis and a very poor coat. This has been treated and Alfie’s coat is growing back nicely. He has recently been castrated and fully vaccinated and would suit a home that love confident terriers like him. Alfie is slightly bigger than a Yorkshire Terrier but equally as pretty and will need a home that can offer exercise and play times. Sadly Alfie is not happy being left alone and has some separation anxiety. A very special and loving home with experience is needed for this smashing little lad.
THE HOME ALFIE NEEDS
Alfie would suit a home where he will have plenty of attention and company and where he will not be left for long hours every day. He is great with people and would make a very friendly dog for someone who likes to go walking and needs company. He would need to be the only dog at home as he is selective with other dogs. A one hound only home please. Alfie would suit a semi-active retired couple or person and someone who has time for him. He hasn’t had the best home and was in poor condition so a home with 5 star treatments, plenty of comforts and love will suit him just fine. Sadly Alfie struggles with being left so can’t be rehomed with someone working long hours. He needs company for most of the day so will make a great companion dog for an older yet active person. We have many dogs looking for a new forever home and we have many many dogs that are all deserving of a new start.
We are dedicated to helping stray and abandoned dogs in Yorkshire. By adopting a dog from us you will be freeing up a much needed kennel for another stray dog needing a rescue place. Support is crucial to us and we are a small rescue. We are always passionate about the welfare of stray dogs in Yorkshire. We are always happy to answer any questions on our dogs and invite people to come and meet our homeless hounds today. Alfie is kenneled in Sheffield with some supportive friends of ours. An appointment is need to meet him. Contact us for any more details today. We will not rehome Alfie with small children.

Work full time? etc etc. We will come back to you as soon as possible. If the dog is a good match for you we will arrange for you to come and meet the dog and ourselves. If everything goes well we will home check your property and if possible you can provide us with a verbal reference from your previous vet. All our animals are vaccinated, neutered, treated for fleas and worms and micro chipped. We ensure we match the right dog with the right adopter and all parties are happy including the dog.
