Betty is a gorgeous young American Bulldog type Crossbreed who is only around 12 months old (if that). She can be shy and nervous of new places at first, but once she’s found her feet her playful puppy side comes out and she’s a big goofball who is all paws and playbows! Betty clearly hasn’t been well socialised as a young puppy, so she is quite scared when she’s out walking at the minute and is a sensitive soul underneath it all, so she needs to find an experienced home who can build her confidence but give her boundaries as she can be headstrong and boisterous if allowed! In her kennel she is brilliantly behaved – she is very quiet, fine to be left for a few hours, doesn’t chew and is housetrained. She doesn’t seem to be great with other dogs at the moment and will need to be the only pet, but we do think with further careful socialising she can improve around other dogs. She will need a home with direct access to a totally secure garden. In the right home who know how to handle big puppy’s like Betty she will blossom into an amazing young dog.

All dogs adopted from HYPS have had a full health check, are fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. They are also treated for fleas and worms. The adoption fee is £150.
