Cass

Gender: Female

Age: 1 - 2 years

Neutered: Yes

Cass is a very loving little dog but she does stalk other dogs, although if they stop she doesn’t know what to do, she does need to be the only dog in a home. She will also need to be in a home where keeping her on a long line for a long time will not pose a problem as she has previously chased sheep

Adoption info

All our dogs are vaccinated microchipped and, whenever possible neutered (this can be dependant on the age of the dogs e.g. very old or very young) There is a minimum fee of 200.00 to help cover the cost of taking in more dogs in need of help.

Adopted

Freedom of Spirit Trust for Border Collies rescue (FOSTBC)

All our dogs go into their Life Guardians homes on a training programme, we give each adopted dog its lifetime of back up and we try our best to match the right dog to potential adopters. As each dog and potential home are different we don't have a rigid set of rules but we do need to know that there is a suitably fenced garden/exercise area and we don't let our dogs go into homes where they are going to be left alone for several hours at a time on a regular basis.
Some of our dogs do have issues and some are ready for rehoming within a matter of weeks of being in our care so we do need to know from potential adopters if they are prepared for or are experienced with any behavioural issues.
