I’m a laid-back kind of guy who enjoys a leisurely stroll and loves to snooze once we’re back. Playtime is fun too, I love a daily zoomies session and lots of belly rubs too. I’m a low maintenance old boy, where a short walk, some playtime, and a cosy sofa or bed to lounge on sound like heaven to me.

Because of poor breeding, I have a few health issues that mean that I have to be on some tablets for the rest of my life to help my mobility and skin. The team at Rain would be happy to tell you more about the care I need if you enquire and I’m not that expensive. There isn’t anything else really that can be done to improve my joints. I’m on pain relief and mobility supplements and that’s given me a new spring to my step.

When it comes to housemates, the team here would prefer me to be the only dog in the home or another nice female plodder. I’m a senior boy who just wants a quiet life. I might be okay with cats – I doubt I’d bother chasing them anyway. Due to my size, living with small children isn’t the best fit for me, but teenagers should be just fine.

The team here affectionately call me “lazy bones,” but they also describe me as a sweetheart and remind me how lovely I am.

Charlie has an adoption fee of £250 which includes health check, neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worm treatment while he has been at Rain Rescue, along with 4 weeks free pet insurance with Pet Plan once he is adopted.
