Maisie is a gorgeous American Bulldog cross Boxer who is 5-6 yrs old. She has a very laid back, chilled out nature and is very friendly, she can be a bit shy and act ‘aloof’ with new people, she seems to particularly love men and lights up when her favourite dog walker Tony comes to kennels to take her out. Maisie is brilliant around the house and is absolutely fine to be left for a few hours – she just sleeps! She has lived with dogs and cats previously but will need slow, sensible introductions to new animals in the home. Maisie really enjoys her walks, especially when there’s long grass for her to roll around in!! She walks really nicely on the lead, but as she’s a big girl, we are looking for a home who have some experience with larger breeds who are confident walking her – she is happiest with a confident handler. Maisie needs to be on medication for life due to a hormonal defficiency caused when she was spayed, the medication costs around £10 a month. She is an amazing dog who really needs to find a home who will give her the happy life she so deserves – she is getting fed up in kennels and longs to bond with a new owner and enjoy life again.

All dogs adopted from HYPS have had a full health check, are fully vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. They are also treated for fleas and worms. The adoption fee is £150.
