This lovely boy was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. Unfortunately his microchip was not up to date. He is 1 year old & the kennels have named him Pete. We believe Pete to be a German shepherd crossed with a Belgian shepherd. Pete is a young, high energy dog that needs all aspects of training. An active home with time to meet his needs is essential. Pete knows basic commands such as “sit” & “paw” but will need house training & lead training. Pete has not shown any negative reactions towards the dogs he is kennelled next to. Due to his young age, he will need further socialising, he has a very boisterous nature so any existing dogs in an adoptive home need to be fairly tolerant & balanced – a successful introduction at kennels is required. Pete has such a wonderful temperament & a lot of love to give – he is desperate for a home to call his own.

Adoption info

For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). For full information or to book an appointment to see the animals available, please call the kennels direct on 07817 497995, phone 7days 8am - 8pm (closed between 1.30pm and 2pm for lunch) - viewing is by appointment only, subject to a successful pre adoption questionnaire carried out over the phone - please remember to quote the dogs reference number when calling. ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
