Ryan is a stunning, GSD male. He is tan/black sable colour, large in size, 2 years old. Ryan was found running scared on a very busy road. Ryan has been friendly in kennels, however he will need an experienced GSD/large dog home with lots of space. He has been a yard dog in his past so it is unknown how he will be in a home environment. In kennels he is stressed – he spins and barks when people walk past his kennel. He appears to know some basic commands. He sometimes cowers at sudden movements. Ryan also has a very slight head tilt – the vet has said this is possibly due to an untreated middle ear infection leaving his head a little off balance – no infection at present. He can be a little mouthey when excited, a home with no children will be better suited. He will need to be neutered as soon as possible.
For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
