This lovely boy was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. Unfortunately his microchip is unregistered. We have named him Marty & aged him around 2 years old. Initially Marty was very frightened of staff & growly in his kennel – after lots of patience & gravy bones he soon made friends. Marty does pull a little on his lead so would benefit from lead training. He does react to some of the other dogs he is kennelled next to. He may need a gentle reminder when it comes to housetraining. Due to Marty’s initially nervous nature a home without younger children is essential. Marty absolutely loves toys, particularly his favourite yellow squeaky ball – which he throws for himself and rolls on top of. Marty has such a character & would make a great companion in his forever home.

For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). For full information or to book an appointment to see the animals available, please call the kennels direct on 07817 497995, phone 7days 8am - 8pm (closed between 1.30pm and 2pm for lunch) - viewing is by appointment only, subject to a successful pre adoption questionnaire carried out over the phone - please remember to quote the dogs reference number when calling. ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
