Fabulous Olive arrived at our kennels after being found as a stray. On arrival Olive was filthy, covered in fleas, extremely underweight, weak, massively dehydrated and barely able to walk. we initially suspected she was a extremely elderly girl, after a thorough check it became clear her condition was purely due to neglect.

After plenty of rest, good food, medication and lots of loving care Olive has recovered at a amazing rate. Olive is now gaining weight and is much happier, she now loves nothing better than chasing toys (tennis balls are her favourite) and having a lean in for back scratches.

Olive is approximately 7 years old.

Olive still has some slight weakness in her back legs that is improving with time, but as with most dogs as she ages she may need arthritis treatment and monitoring with a vet.

Olive has been through such awful neglect but has shown us nothing but how amazing she is. Happy, friendly and still trusting of humans. She really just wants to play and be loved.

Olive could possibly live with another dog pending successful introductions as she hasn’t shown any negative reactions whilst in kennels.

For dogs there is a non-refundable adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
