14142 ‘Hope’ Cane corso x

Gender: Female

Age: 1 - 2 years

Neutered: As part of adoption process

A very special home is needed for beautiful Hope.

Hope is 17 month old and she came into our care via the police in an extremely emaciated condition, one of the thinnest dogs we have ever seen. While she cannot tell us what she has been through, we strongly believe she has suffered prolonged neglect and starvation.

Despite her past, Hope’s future is full of promise. With the care and dedication of our hardworking team, she has already gained weight and has now been given the all-clear by the vet to begin her search for a loving home.

Hope has the most gentle, affectionate nature and has shown nothing but kindness towards everyone she meets.

She would be happiest as the only dog in the home, but could potentially live with a calm, neutered male pending a successful meet and greet.

As we do not know her history with children, we are recommending a home with older children only.

Due to her past, Hope may display food-seeking behaviours. She will need small, regular meals and an adopter who can offer patience, understanding, and consistency while she settles in.

Given her condition on arrival, she may also need gentle guidance with toilet training and will benefit from light, gradual exercise to help rebuild her strength.

If you feel you could offer Hope the safe, loving home she truly deserves, please contact us to begin the pre-adoption process.

Adoption fee: £150
