MJ is a beautiful 2 year old standard daschund that has sadly found himself in the pound looking for a forever home due to no fault of his own.
MJ is a very timid boy when meeting new people and can take some time to build up trust. Once he gets to know you however, he is a whirlwind of play & loves to roll over for a good fuss.
MJ’s previous owners described him as loving, playful and a big fan of his food! MJ is apparently housetrained, hasn’t ever had any medical problems and is friendly with other dogs when out walking but hasn’t had much socialisation with dogs other than that. He could potentially live with another small dog pending a successful introduction.
MJ has previously lived with children & could potentially live with older children again in his new home.
MJ has a great character, he has a comical underbite & as a typical daschund likes to “shout” for attention.

Due to his nervous nature, potential adopters may need more than one meet & greet appointment to build up trust with MJ before he feels safe enough to go home with his new owners.

For dogs there is a non-refundable adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). PLEASE CALL THE NUMBERS TO SPEAK TO A MEMBER OF STAFF IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ONE OF THE DOGS - emails/messages to this site unable to be responded to.

ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
