Sox was brought in to kennels after being picked up by the dog warden as a stray. According to his microchip he is 8 years old, but he is a very young 8 & full of energy. Sox arrived with a nasty infected wound to his neck, possibly a bite wound, that he is currently receiving antibiotics and pain relief for. Sox has a happy-go-lucky temperament & loves his grub. He is very clean in his kennel which may suggest he is house trained. He also walks nicely on the lead. Sox needs a staffy loving home with plenty of fuss and attention. Sox doesn’t react to other dogs in kennels when walking past on the lead. But he has been too boisterous for other dogs in introductions & has got growly and snappy so Sox will need to be the only dog in the household. Sox loves toys and he appears to know commands such as sit, stay, leave it. Sox has had a few failed views as he is much stronger and much more giddy and over the top than expected for an 8 year old staffy.

For dogs there is a non-refundable adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
