13786 “Rocco” Male Bull Breed Cross

This lovely boy was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. He remained unclaimed by his owner. We know from his microchip that he is only 1 year old & named Rocco. Please note for Rocco we have had a police dog liaison officer to assess his breed which found him to be a bull breed cross & does not meet the requirements of any banned breed. Roccos temperament is friendly, boisterous, puppy-like & very playful. He tries his best to stay clean in his kennel which is a good indicator that he is house trained. He knows basic commands such as sit & paw. He will need further training & lead training as he is fairly strong. Rocco jumps up & doesn’t realise his size so may be better off in a home without very young children. We have seen no negative reactions from rocco towards other dogs in kennels but he may need to learn some manners & further socialisation as he may be “a lot” for some dogs. Rocco has such a character, he makes kennel staff laugh on the daily – he would make a perfect companion in his forever home.

For dogs there is a non-refundable £100 adoption fee (card payment only at present) which includes microchipping (for dogs not already microchipped). For full information or to book an appointment to see the animals available, please call the kennels direct on 07817 497995, phone 7days 8am - 8pm (closed between 1.30pm and 2pm for lunch) - viewing is by appointment only, subject to a successful pre adoption questionnaire carried out over the phone - please remember to quote the dogs reference number when calling. ALL DOGS ADOPTED FROM SHEFFIELD CITY COUNCIL MUST BE NEUTERED/SPAYED - This will be an additional cost to the adopter.
