13856 “Tia” Female Boxer cross
Gender: Female
Age: 3 - 4 years
Neutered: As part of adoption process
This lovely girl was brought into kennels after being found roaming as a stray. Unfortunately her microchip was not up to date so we had no response from her owners. We know she is 3 years old and named Tia. Tia is a boxer cross possibly staffy. When first arriving at kennels she was very nervous & unsure of her handlers. After a bit of patience & lots of treats she was won over & is now friendly with all kennel staff. Once Tia has come out of her shell, she is very boisterous & does jump up a lot. She loves affection & is incredibly loving – she needs a lot of reassurance still. Tia is very fearful of other dogs & will need a pet free home for now with the time to work on her confidence and socialisation. Because of Tias nervous nature she will need a home without young children. Potential adopters may have to visit Tia in kennels a few times before she feels safe enough to go home. Tia is usually clean in her kennel which is a good indicator that she is housetrained.
Tia has had a rough start in life & we would love nothing more than her to have second chance in her forever home.
